Your Pet Tribute
Our beautiful big, blind boy, Sponge,
crossed Rainbow bridge on 12th August 2018.
You were only with us for 6 and a half years
but in that time you made so many friends and had fans all over the world
(your facebook page is still going strong!)
Life was never easy for you – from being dumped at 2 weeks old
with your 9 litter mates, you were taken to Battersea
and we were invited to come and meet you.
From the moment we saw you we knew you would be coming home with us.
In 6 years you have travelled all over (France, Italy, Austria,)
but were always happiest at home on the sofa.
You lost your eyesight and then your eyes and even had
to have a leg operation earlier this year however you carried on stoically.
You slipped away peacefully in your sleep when we were not expecting it,
but we were glad we were all with you.
We will never forget you -there’s a big hole in our lives (and
a big space on the sofa!).
Sleep easy now big boy – we love you.
